Varnish is an HTTP accelerator also known as a caching HTTP reverse proxy. You can install it in front of hybris and configure it to cache the contents. Varnish Cache is a very fast thing. It typically speeds up delivery with a factor of 300 – 1000x, depending on your architecture. However, your backend system should be compatible with Varnish to use all its features and speed.
